Final Destination
Isn't it cruel?
How someone can come into your life
So rapidly and suddenly
Distinguishing you from amongst the crowd
They cast a light so bright
Upon all your darkest days
Burning with the pleasant rage
Of a thousand blinding suns
It's those same people that leave
So rapidly and suddenly
Taking with them their shining light
Unfettered from your desperate hold
And in solitude you are left to ponder
Wondering when the next light will pass you by
For you seem
To never be the final destination
