TOP 10

Here is a list of my 10 favorite books of all time!

01

Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone by JK Rowling

Want a book about prophecies, magic, wizards, witches, spells, and of course The Chosen One. This book is the ultimate YA novel for anyone just getting started with fantasy. One of my utmost favorite fantasy series, and it deserves all the hype. Want more book recommendations similar to the Harry Potter series? Move your mouse to the right to uncover more like it.

02

Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan

For fans of the Harry Potter series, the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan is the perfect read. It's ultimately what got me into greek mythology.

03

Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead

Looking to read books about vampires but Twilight isn't cutting it? This book was my first leap into vampires, and quickly became one of my favourite fantasy series. Want more book recommendations similar to the Vampire Academy series? Move your mouse to the right to uncover more like it.

04

Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning

A great urban fantasy read about the danger realm of Faes, set against the backdrop of Ireland. Has everything, including a murder mystery and of course Jericho Barrons, need I say more??

05

Cinder by Marissa Meyer

One of the most original book series I've read to date, which seems like a juxtaposition, considering it is a retelling. However this novel combines sci-fi with fairy tales and magic and somehow everything seems to work well together.

06

The Cruel Prince by Holly Black

After the Fever series this is probably my favourite book about the world of Faes. Incredibly written, with a healthy dose of enemies-to-lover romance, magic, palace intrigues and betrayal. 07

Vicious by LJ. Shen

I've seen so many mixed reviews about this book. People either hate it or loved it, there's no in between.Persnally I loved it. It's not the sweetest contemporary romance out there (the MMC Vicious really is vicious) but it never pretends to be anything otherwise. A really great read if you're not interested in reading sappy love stories.

08

I am Number Four by Pittacus Lore

This book gets my vote for being so original, and while sci-fi is probably my least favourite genre (something baout aliens just weirds me out), this book does a great job of blending sci-fi with elements of fantasy and magi. It's a fantastic read for any high schooler, and reminds me of the X-men movie series.

09

Bring Down the Stars by Emma Scott

This book is my absolute favourite romance book. Hands down, no competition! I read it once every year and it still gives me all the feels. Think Cyrano de Bergerac but in modern times. Weston and Autumn are the sweetest couple I've read about and the second book in the duet made me cry an embarassing amount of times. It has a HEA but definitely a lot of tears to get there. I will forever recommend this book.

10

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F**K by Mark Manson

This book is different than the rest of the books on this list but I truly believe everybody should rad this at least once. Really helped me reset my mindset and honestly motivated me to not let unimportant things (and sometimes important things) live in my head rent free.
